Sophie Yost
Social Chair
Sophie is a senior from Lancaster, PA majoring in Public Policy and History with a certificate in Markets & Management. A theater-kid-turned-public-policy-kid, she loves a dramatic monologue (whether it is on a stage or the Senate floor). She is also a passionate voter education advocate and is fascinated by the intersection of social justice and artistic expression. At Duke, she is the POLIS student assistant, member of Quad Council, and a Maxwellian. On the weekends, she loves to visit the chickens in the Duke gardens, cook new recipes with friends, explore local museums, and spend way too much time on TikTok. She is excited to be a part of Michael’s reign as HnH president.
Alice Cavanagh
Social Chair
Alice Cavanagh is a sophomore who was born and raised in New York City but has spent a lot her life in Vancouver, Canada and now Fairfield, CT. She’s majoring in Theater Studies, minoring in French, and pursuing the Innovation & Entrepreneurship certificate. Previously in Hoof 'n' Horn, she was Vivian in Legally Blonde and Cordelia in Falsettos. Outside of it, she's most involved in Duke’s Deja Blue a cappella group. She grew up loving acting and theater, so she is so happy to have joined such an amazing community here at Duke full of people who love the same thing!
