As a primarily self-funded organization, Hoof 'n' Horn relies greatly on the support of our sponsors each year to continue our 83-year legacy of sharing exceptional theatre with the Duke and Durham communities. Your contributions directly support each of our three mainstage shows, as well as larger projects, such as purchasing state-of-the-art equipment or expanding our community outreach initiatives. We greatly appreciate your support. Instructions on how to give can be found below.
HOW TO GIVE
To send a contribution, please click on the button to the right. Download and complete our sponsor form in PDF format and mail it with payment enclosed to the address listed on the form. We unfortunately are unable to accept payments online at this time. We also welcome gifts in the form of goods and services (ex. costumes, props, or marketing support); please contact us if you are interested in contributing in this way! Please note that contributions to student organizations at Duke University are not tax deductible.
In exchange for your contribution, we will to recognize you in our show playbills and on our website at the level corresponding to your gift(s). Contributions are cumulative over the course of one season.
WHAT YOUR SUPPORT MAKES POSSIBLE
Part of what makes Hoof 'n' Horn special is that we do it all ourselves: we choose our own seasons, direct and perform in shows and cabarets, and balance our budgets. But ticket sales alone cannot fund the high-quality performances we feel our audiences deserve. That's where you come in. Contributions help us out at every step of the process, including:
Show rights and materials
Set construction, theater and equipment rental, and technical expenses
Publicity and advertising costs
Audience and accessibility services, including audio description for audience members who are low vision
Community outreach initiatives to expand our audiences and fulfill our mission of bringing exceptional theatre to the Duke and Durham communities
