COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Beginning with the 2017-18 season, Hoof 'n' Horn is working to re-establish our prominence outside of Duke's walls through multiple exciting relationships.

A new relationship with Durham Performing Arts Center led Hoof ‘n’ Horn to begin working with DPAC’s Triangle Rising Stars program, which recognizes excellence in high school students’ musical theater performances in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill "Triangle" and surrounding areas.

Interested in partnering with Hoof 'n' Horn? Reach out to  Claire Budzik and Adriana Morales, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Outreach Chairs, at cib9@duke.edu and aim12@duke.edu.

Cabaret in the Community

Thirty-Two members of Hoof 'n' Horn performed a special cabaret at the Ronald McDonald House on February 24th, 2019. The cabaret featured multiple Disney songs from Little Mermaid to High School Musical. Costumes were provided by Kennedy Entertainment. Hoof 'n' Horn members also had a small performance at the Durham VA Medical Center on March 2nd, 2019. Hoof 'n' Horn is dedicated to bring the love and magic of musical theater to the Duke and Durham community. If you would like Hoof 'n' Horn to perform at your next event, please reach out to 2022/2023 Cabaret Producers Ila Amiri and Izzy Costanzo!
